CLASSES
All classes must be paid in full before the start date of the class in order to hold your space. If for some reason the class you have registered for is cancelled, you will be contacted with the following options: you can either put your registration fee toward the next class session scheduled or you can receive a full refund for the class.
REFUNDS FOR CLASSES
Up to 7 days prior to the first class date: 100% refund (minus $20 processing fee). No refunds will be given once the class you have registered for starts.
WORKSHOPS
All workshops must be paid in full before the start date of the workshop in order to hold your space and to make sure there are enough materials for you. Most workshops have a registration cut off date of approx 5-7 days before the workshop start date to ensure enough materials will be ordered and arrive in time. If for some reason the workshop you have registered for is cancelled, you will be contacted with the following options: you can either put your registration fee toward the next workshop date scheduled or you can receive a full refund for that workshop.
REFUNDS FOR WORKSHOPS
Up to 7 days prior to workshop date: 100% refund. 1-7 days prior to workshop date: 50% refund (to cover the cost of extra supplies that have been purchased for your use in class). No refunds will be given the day of the scheduled workshop.
PROCESSING YOUR JEWELRY ORDER
Every item we sell is handmade in our studio, items may vary slightly photo due to the handmade process. In stock items will ship the next day. Personalized items are non-refundable! Please double check your spelling, make sure your instructions are clear, and provide a valid email address and phone number so we can reach you if any questions should arise.
CUSTOM ORDERS/WEDDINGS
Yes, we do custom orders including wedding rings, maid of honor/bridesmaid jewelry and wedding parties. Please contact us if you are interested in a particular piece or wish to have something completely original designed just for you! A 50% deposit will be required when the order is submitted so we can order supplies and start production work. Allow 2-4 weeks for custom orders to be completed and shipped. Custom orders are not returnable. We are more than happy to work with you to get your idea/piece exactly as you wish so you that you are totally happy with the final result.
PAYMENT
We use a secure shopping cart system to accept Visa, Master Card, AMEX and Discover via PayPal. Please make sure your billing address is correct. Orders will appear as "Michele Grady Designs" on your billing statement. If you would rather pay by check or money order, please contact us for further instructions.
SHIPPING
We use USPS Priority Shipping with Delivery Confirmation and a tracking number for all shipments to the USA. Your item should arrive 2-5 working days after it is shipped.
RETURNS
"Custom Name Charms" and other custom orders are NOT returnable. Please make sure you are satisfied with your item at the time of purchase. All other items can be returned within 30 days of purchase as long as you notify us first via email or phone.
REPAIRS
We stand behind our workmanship. It is very rare that there is ever an issue with our work but if your item should break within 90 days of purchase due to normal every day wear and tear we will gladly repair/replace your item free of charge. Please notify us via email or phone and we will let you know the how to go about sending your item back for repair. We also will replace a lost earring at half the cost of the original pair as long as all materials that were used to create the original pair are still available. (Some one of a kind items can not be recreated.)
MATERIALS
Each jewelry item is handcrafted from sterling silver, fine silver, gold, copper, bronze and/or brass. We do NOT use plated or base metals. Sterling silver is comprised of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. Fine silver is 99.9% pure silver. All of our items, including the chain and clasps, are made from either one or the other of these silvers.
JEWELRY CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Almost all of Michele Grady Designs current jewelry is oxidized. DO NOT POLISH ITEMS THAT COME OXIDIZED! You will remove the patina from the item and you will not be able to get it back. These pieces will not tarnish due to the fact that they are already blackened. Copper pieces that are oxidized will turn a warmer darker brown color which is the beauty of oxidized copper.
Some of our older pieces are not oxidized. Sterling silver, copper and brass do darken when exposed to air over a long period of time. If you would like to keep your pieces looking like they did when they were newly purchased keeping them in a sealed, zip lock plastic bag when not in use will minimize tarnishing. Anti-tarnish strips can be purchased at most department stores and online to help retard tarnish when placed in a jewelry box or other container with the jewelry. Using a pre-treated jewelry polishing cloth to buff away tarnish, oils and grime before and/or after wearing each item will help retard the oxidation process and keep your jewelry shining like new.

We do send out a bi-monthly newsletter but other than that email addresses and other sensitive information that is collected on this site when an order is placed is NEVER given out to third parties. Please be assured that your information is safe. We hate spam just as much as you do!
